Numis has hired a trio of senior staff as it builds out its post-Brexit hub in Dublin.
The traditionally UK focused investment bank has hired Peter Davis from Citigroup as a director in its dealmaking team in the Irish capital, according to a statement. Davis spent a decade a Citigroup, largely within its UK M&A and corporate broking team.
Numis has also taken on Rob Fallon and Cian Fanning as directors within its equities business.
Fallon joins from Irish broker Goodbody, while Fanning joins from broker Davy where he worked for eight years.

Numis opened its first office on the continent in August as part of its efforts to diversify its business away from the UK and access clients after Brexit. The bank is building a team of up to 15 people in Dublin including dealmakers, sales staff and compliance experts.
“We’re seeing this as an opportunity to push harder in Europe on all fronts, whether that’s with the institutional investors or issuers and corporates across the continent,” Numis co-chief executive Ross Mitchinson told Financial News in September. “After Brexit, we found ourselves in a position where we could not talk as easily to European clients, and now we can.”
