As I was going through my camera’s spare memory card the other day, I discovered that there were still tons of video and photos from our New Year’s eve celebration in Dubai with friends that I haven’t posted yet.

So please bear with me a moment. I know we’re almost halfway through March and sharing these photos is such an abomination, but for posterity’s sake, I just gotta post these of photos I took Burj Khalifa firework display. We watched it from our friend’s rooftop and the view was beyond amazing! Such a happy memory for me.
Just when you thought the sky-scraping silhouette of Dubai’s most iconic buildings couldn’t get more imposing, New Year’s fireworks at the Burj Khalifa came along. New Year’s Eve in the Middle East is synonymous with this world-renowned display and thousands descend on the city to watch this pyrotechnic masterpiece each year. When the clock strikes 12, you’ll want to take pride of position in front of the Burj and the Dubai Fountain, where you can catch multicoloured jets of water shooting into the air alongside a jaw-dropping firework display.

I recommend you arrive early, or make a booking at one of the restaurants at the Burj Plaza. Trust me – this is a hot ticket.
